Meanwhile closer to home, beyond their vision, vulnerable child regugees in the UK are committing suicide because they are trapped in a system that that dehumanizes them, denies them access to adeuate legal aid and a bureaucracy that denies them basic human rights. In the UK mentally ill children are imprisoned in police cells because there are no local beds available and when a bed does become available it is often hundreds of miles away, away from family friends and or support networks.

When the NIMBY class constantly sneer at Trump it is because they can’t see further than the end of their own noses.  The holier than thou brigade who can’t get their own house in order.

There’s a growing international condemnation of Trmp’s actions. The UN Secreatary general has called it unconscionable child abuse. It really is horrible.

But Trump cares as much as the other brutes of the Far Right on the rise at the moment. With a growing tendency to terror, bullying and thuggery (MPs were physically threatened last week on the brexit vote, while a plot to kill a Labour MP is being tried right now), there is a growing feeling that a New Wave of the Future is beginning. For pity’s sake, I hope not. *shudders
