Coming from someone who doesnt even know what the Union Jack looks like and posts a siggy with something that is supposed to look like the true flag, I’ll take that as a compliment

I haven’t counted all the Stars on this depiction of the American flag – are they the correct number???
Maybe we could simply accept that they are intended to be simple depictions of the respective flags and NOT intended as specifically accurate copies.
I’m pretty sure that we can all see that they are meant to be the UK and the US flags …. unless we really want to be unnecessarily pedantic !!!

My simple case in point was to be accused of being “unpatriotic” by someone who posts with a phoney flag seemed somewhat hypocritical and ironic.
And yes, possibly pedantic too :D
Dear old Tommy – please allow him the privilege of his ”patriotic” rantings even with somewhat dodgy flags. He means well bless him.

Anyway, you’re not patriotic, you believe in the EU.
You can’t be pro-British and pro-EU, since the EU is by nature, anti-British.
I am the only patriotic one on these boards, possibly in the entire country!
I saw the show in question, Macdonalds remark was nothing to be offended about, it was said in jocular fashion, and read from an autocue. There was certainly no hint of aggression in the way the remark was delivered and the context of it was to show the hypocrisy of those who objected to Mannings material. Besides, why the hue and cry opver what Macdonald said about Manning? Didn’t the latter make a livibg from similar remarks against ethnic groups? Come on people, lighten up, don’t be so touchy, get a sense of humour and the world won’t be so full of hatred as it is today.

The same could be said about BB contestant Emily, but no, Emily is white, she is “bad”.
