Most of us watch the box ….but what has been one of your top TV moments?
Hilarious dramatic happy or sad …. I’ll kick off with this one.
From hilarity to cold shivers in 3 mins.
im not being nasty or owt,not really sure if if it qualifies as a “top tv moment”? but i remember tommy cooper dieing on stage and i shouted me ex bird in from the kitchen doing the ironing i think hes dead
shes at it who?
but they pulled to the ads so she thought i was just winding her up

we finished shortly after that episode :(It was a sad TV moment but having said that he died where he was happiest … on stage making people laugh. So there is that way of looking at it.

Boys from the Blackstuff. Powerful and really hit home what life was like, for a large % of the working class, in Thatchers Britain.
Yosser Hughes pleading for work, “Gis a job”, with his kids in tow was both disturbing and thought provoking, it made me angry at the time because it summed up what it was like being offered plss taking YTS jobs, which exploited, rather than ‘real jobs’.
