    Will get the tree out on Christmas eve check to see if the fibre optic lights still work and put it away again until next year.

    All depends in what context, if there is a need for the word erect to be banned it purely means in a sexual way!

    its 12 days before for a further 12 days .. owt else is bad luck …I tend to put mine up in march then I’m ready  , bad luck I’m use too now  lol  nice topic  and many have dif views but its 24 days in total  !!!!!   lol

    Great topic! First weekend of December for us. Harks back to a year when the kids where little won’t bore you with the story. But has stayed a tradition with  us since even though it’s just us now. I wouldn’t stop putting the decs and a tree up because the kids aren’t around but each to their own. Definitely wouldn’t put up in November but to me in a world where stress and depression are becoming so prevalent, if putting your Christmas tree makes you happy then I don’t see why not!

    I think traditionally the 12 days of Christmas is from Christmas Day until 6th Jan, could be wrong on that though!
