tony blair is set to resign on thursday of this week. we will then get a new premiere, gordon brown.
im a little afraid about this man. his silence on every subject lateley is deafening. john reid has also said he will leave politics when gordon takes the helm. ? why is this ? i always found mr reid only too ready to give his oppinionin the past. im beginning to be very afraid for us folks left out in the cold if the cabinet are deserting the ship. and if jack daw {straw to us common folk] gets the chair that gordons been sitting in we can be sure that gordon will be running both the country and the purse strings. and who can stop his one man mission to control everything,?
no one
no one at all8 May, 2007 at 10:04 pm #270187Best Chancellor this country’s had for a long long time. If He’s as good a Prime Minister we’ll be ok.

10 May, 2007 at 11:13 am #270190i dont know who will win the next election as im not into predictions and to be honest we dont know what gordons got up his sleeve. if hes as good at running the shop as he is at taxing all of us till we squeak he will do a good job.
i can remember when maggie was on the throne at no 10 an i was quite well off but my neighbours were scraping food parcels from the local working mens club as they had a miner for a father.
i also remember how she orchestrated the falklands war to win her last election.
but it has to be said she was a force to be reckoned with when she showed her teeth.
i dont think gordy will be given a fair crack at the whip as tony will undermine him at every oppertunity through the press. well just have to wait and see eh…10 May, 2007 at 11:37 am #270191@slayer wrote:

I know of staunch conservatives who think cameron is blair2.
Cameron believes that over the last 12,000 years, natural climate change didn’t create the English channel, it must’ve been human activity.
Cameron believes that racial murder is ok so long as we have multiculturalism.
Cameron believes in a zombie nation.

(Here we go with that ”zombie” word again !!! … Ed)
10 May, 2007 at 2:18 pm #270193Lets face it, to support cameron, theres gota be something wrong with you. He thinks human activity forced the ice to melt 12,000 years ago to form what we call the English channel, how stupid is that.
10 May, 2007 at 5:25 pm #270194the politics of spin and lies will decide the next election i will vote for the party that says it will cease immigration and national health visitors on the day they are elected and puts in a point based immigration system.
not rocket science is it.
i think its what most of the country want. or am i wrong on that, ? everyone i have asked without exeption has said they would vote on those issues. and i may just take up the baton locally if i can get financial backing.
would anyone here vote for those actions alone ???
