I’m fed up with drinking coffee with women clad in leggings from Primark with their front teeth missing, so I have decided to post this thread in the hope of discussing stuff to do with kids without having to look at each other !!!

Talk to me about anything you like, child-friendly places you know, how to keep your looks/sanity/personality/individuality/fashion sense/teeth………. Do you think 4 year old’s get too much homework? Are you trying to potty train your 2 year old? Are you still breastfeeding your 10 year old triplets ??? Come on talk to me….. I’m having a bad day

     LOL Ugo !

I think kids get far too much homework these days, to be honest I’m dreading that stage when they bring home allegbra !!! I haven’t a clue either !!

My 4 year old is learning her “phonics” at the moment, and only has 2 letters to get before she gets her badge. One of the letters is X so we have been practising saying X as in X-ray, then the teacher told me this is wrong, its should be pronounced “cs” as in fox (cs) – FFS ! I can’t even get this right LOL

One thing you find as they get older…no matter how old they try to act, no matter how clever they think they are, no matter how much they push the boundaries, drive you up the wall and make you think that it would have been a better idea to have had a headache all those years ago, no matter what, they still come back to their mum and dad like little lost kids n want someone to tell em its alright, hold em tight n kiss em goodnight

As for homework- helped me eldest with his french homework n he got a “D” which pished him off so he’s told me it’s only History, Geography and English from now on

No wonder I still feel I have a language barrier …..

What is the difference between X-ray and fox?

    Sounds the same to me!

    :? :? :?

The X in X-ray is pronounced ex and the X in fox is pronounced cs – tell me about it, it’s taken me 2 term’s to get my head round it
