Sian can be that, but NEVER without a reason.
Anyway, thought it was done and dusted!
The End.

personally i think maybe a picture thread could be created that like the spit the dummy thread , members can only view it when they are logged in and have registered :?
Now THAT part makes sense. I feel an unease at seeing pictures of babies and children on an open forum when there are numerous sick creeps out there getting kicks from them.
There are instances where we should publish and be damned, and I guess that showing photos of ourselves are risks we take, but when it comes to exposing our children..it’s another matter. I am proud as punch of my beautiful nieces and handsome nephews.. and my drop-dead gorgeous godsons (or goddess-sons to be more accurate) but until and unless we have a closed and private forum, their identities will never be shown here – hell – I feel queasy about showing my furbabies.
Which brings it back to Johnboy’s original sensible suggestion..that we have a separate Mum’s Forum. Maybe simply a closed ‘Pictures Forum’ How about it PB?18 October, 2008 at 9:15 am #383241How about we all say Bob Loblaw – quickly and in an American accent!

When did it calm down? When the ‘w*nker’ comment was directed at me? When people started, as pebbles pointed out, posting their pics and in some cases stating that they were doing it purely to piss people off?
I did apologise for my crabby behaviour
I did admit I was wrong
My apology was accepted graciously
Things were said in the heat of the moment
but I hope me and Johnboy sorted it like the adults that we are
(well adults after we had a childish spat, which we are allowed occasionally)18 October, 2008 at 10:13 am #383244well i’m really sorry for offending johns sensibilities with my tongue in cheek remark. after reading this thread and the gut churning hypocrosy i have removed the offending pictures and promise to reign in my humour in future.
hopefully now johnboy can post without reproach and others who find pics of children upsetting can rest easy.
now i shall go and throw up.

and to be honest Pats
I don’t fekkin blame you
Perhaps in the future the government will look to banning all photos of children
from newspapers, catalogues and magazines
No tv or films will be made with anyone under 16
just in case18 October, 2008 at 10:27 am #383246Pats – hypocrisy – you couldn’t make it up
Anyway, it’s done now

What hypocrisy? Is that in reference to my welcoming Jewel’s suggestion of a closed thread? As for reigning in humour..my own comment on the original thread about ‘snotty weans’ wasn’t exactly recieved with belly laughs.
The pictures aren’t upsetting..they are profuse and exposed and go against everything we are constantly being told about staying safe/private online.
Of the many things that I am.. a hypocrite ain’t one of them. :twisted:18 October, 2008 at 11:04 am #383248and to be honest Pats
