It smacks somewhat of appeasing forum1 and forum3 by removing a pest and dumping them into 2 and giving them permission to do as many quizzes as they want!

Where and when did i say it was an all day Quiz …… i have never known Tippz to do quizzes all day ……. so stop putting ideas into my head :wink:
You’ve put no limit on them have you. If the quizmaster feels like sitting in there all day doing them then you’ve allowed him to do so. Whether he does, or has done previously is besides the point.
If these quizzes weren’t a problem why move them at all. Just allocate a time in those forums. But no…
And Lucy. Myself and Surrey actually asked him once to ‘move’ his 10th quiz in 2 hours into the quiz room, and got a very curt reply! Just saying….
Its an excellent way of clearing those people that do chat in forum2 out of there during the day. Why not just rename it Quiz forum?!? Just a thought…..
Ok I do have to agree with Des on this one.
One odd quiz here and there at an allocated time ie 11am wouldn’t be a problem so much,
but everybody knows they go on and on and on. They do get tedious and boring after 14 hours of them. Alot of people also leave f2 because of these quizzes, just an observation..I agree f2 is dead and could do with livening up but I’m not sure those repetative boring quizzes is the way to do it. And as It has been mentioned there is a quiz room so why not use it for quizzes?
Appeasing f1 and f3 is a loosing battle anyway lol, but yer throw it in f2 cause we are the minority. :roll:
I will purposley stay out of f2 whilst these are going on because I cant stand them.!I also have to agree with Des. Tipps just goes on and on and on. Fine, I don’t mind the odd quiz, but after he has finished, he gets the winner to pick another year and then it starts again. There IS a quiz room and that’s where the quiz’s should be.
Even when other chatters have done a quiz in the lobby, it goes on for maybe an hour but tipps is relentless and its boring.
While yeah something should be done to encourage people back into F2, endless music quiz’s isn’t the way to go, it’s just alienating the rest of us.
I like the quizzes and i think aving them in f2 is a brilliant idea….Tipps freely gives up his time to entertain us folks and personally i think we should all be eternally grateful to him!!

I agree 100% , if someone wants to host a quiz and participate in such then either
do it the forum where people participate or if it is to be designated to one particular
forum then use the quiz room , it is what it’s there for after all.On that note i have two observations and two comments ;
When in days gone bye as a guide i used to host the odd quiz here and there
to ” liven ” up a quiet forum ( TWO ) , which has always been the well known most
quiet forum but by far the least troublesome or rowdy which cannot be said for the
other two forums , i was asked to take the quiz to a more quiet room so as not to
disrupt the chat. So surely take it to the quiz room now too.Observation two ;
How does the guide gd who hosts the current quiz in forum two ” invisibly ” enter
the quiz room to host the quiz without first entering the forum , i was also chastised
for such behavior as a guide , double standards springs to mind :shock:Well it reeks of something but i am not quite sure of what yet when it comes to me
i will no doubt say such.I was in forum two at least half an hour before Tippz arrived In that time i was in the forum was a small list of names and not one word was typed … hence the reason for using the lobby at this time
For those that are worried …… the daily quiz in F2 lobby will be limited until lunch time or so. Tippz himself has stated they are until 12.30pm(ish) he was late starting this morning so it ran til about 12.40pm
If the demand is there for more quizzes later in the day Tippz will do them in the Quiz room
For those that took part this morning thank you …… it was a laugh and i know from you all that you enjoyed it

well I have had a good moan in the past about these quizzes being done in the lobby BUT I was having a nosey this morning and not one person spoke in the lobby that was before tipps even arrived, and I was shocked to see how well the quiz went(even though I didnt get any answers) I had a laugh and a flirt as you do :D and ppl actually stayed in f2 after the quiz ended!! yes we had life in there……I think if ppl give it a chance they will see the quiz last one hour in the lobby and anymore will be done in the quiz room because it did really draw ppl into f2 and they didnt all leg it when it was over, maybe cuz im fit like and they wanted to be with me but who knows :D@mucky1234 wrote:
