So I’m going back to the Hair Salon today to have the guy fix what he did to my hair. He is a very nice guy and I hate to go back and complain. The color is actually very pretty, but it’s just not me and it’s not what I asked for. I gave him a very nice tip on Friday when he finished. Then I left the Salon and hated what what it looked like on me once the sun hit my hair. I look like a firecracker! So I called the Salon when I finished crying and they’ll fix it free of charge.
Anyway, should I give him another tip tonight because he’ll be doing more work? Should I not give him a tip because he didn’t give me what I asked for when I first went in?

NO – don’t give him a tip
You tipped the first time – don’t tip him for fixing a mistake he made, it should have been done right at the start.

Well as you live in the states, you do things differently dont you…. we dont even tip the first time. (we are manky stingy b*st*rds) *cue a backlash!
I’d say, if you think he has done a good job on rectifying it, id tip him again. Depends on how you feel and how large the first tip was.
i always leave a tip after a meal :D

AW a thought just occured to me. If you didnt like what the guy had done to your hair, why the hell did you give him a tip in the first place? Like someone else said, we dont tip hairdressers over here, and certainly not if they,ve done a crap job.
