I didn’t know tintin so I’ve not commented, but Jen is absolutely right in her comments, and in standing up for herself.
I have one close friend who is a Satanist – I can’t agree with her, but she is and feels very strongly about it. She differentiates it from Luciferianism, which is what most of us think when we think of Satanism, and strongly denies it is anything to do with evil.
So I assume that tintin would be very much aggrieved by comments about God, and even so I hope he is resting peacefully (and in God’s arms!!)
30 August, 2013 at 4:27 pm #520093tinny and i talked at length many times about his i used to jibe him being a ‘satanist’ and we’d laugh.
All i can say is a week ago i received the phone call from the hospice and whatever he believed bears no importance to me, i have found myself reaching for my phone many nights this week to wish him goodnight god bless, i miss you tinny, i have no regrets save you left this ride called life too soon for me , selfishly i know he was in a lot of pain.
I cant believe the amount of people who have messaged me on facebook, people who he met on his frequent visits to hospital , people he shared his passion for model cars with among others, i hope tinny you now know how many people cared about you.
goodnight god bless baby boy xxxxxxx
as far as jenjen goes all of us have our opinion and are able to express it, its called free will xxx
30 August, 2013 at 9:44 pm #520094actually.. i am going to be really unpopular
I worried about the fact the fella was a satanist too..
WHY would he want to be lying in the arms of a mythical jesus ?
/UNPOPULAR. DUNDEE.
wherever the wee Ayrshire fella is.. i hope he is happy.
31 August, 2013 at 7:48 am #520095why would that make you unpopular, Ruby??
When someone close to you dies, you have to come to terms with their death, somehow. They aren’t there any more, though we often expect them to appear on the street in a crowd.
We’ve all had to deal with it.
Nobody knows if they’ve gone on to Valhalla, Heaven, Hell, or a koranic pleasure garden. One thing we do know is that when someone is dead, they seem to stay dead.
But peaceful – free from pain – well, that does seem to come with it.
1 September, 2013 at 10:35 pm #520096My memories of Tin.
– gravy boats of custard in restaraunts
– kneeling down headbanging
– walls vibrating
– that great escape from the hospice
– personalised blue parking space
– longer hair than me
– his bible
– Banging my head on his Aston martin
– carpet glue fingers
– saving his customised Chelsea F1 chair from the rain
– his shortcuts that took the longest scenic route ever
– clematis in his garden (who’s was the biggest)
– his personalised footy shirt (samsung) hehe
– his chat (although he had to repeat in English)
– Tripping over his oxygen pipe (several times)
– Being scared
– Being BraveYou may not get it but it doesn’t matter…. He did.
Thank you Tin for being my friend, miss you.

oh like the thunder, lightning, and motorway brimstone/fire on that last night !The best are always attended by extreme dates and weather conditions when they depart. It’s like the earth itself rages at their departing.
I’ve noticed this before as a sign that I will make much more sense of when I too am gone.[/quote]
