The one thing I hate is walking down the street to find litter. It just makes the street look messy, it’s ridiculous. It’s mainly council house people that do it. People in my village, for example, are middle classed Tory types. So we put our rubbish in bins (because we’re civilized).

But walk further into town or around the borders of a council estate and you’ll see litter EVERYWHERE. Mainly cigarette packets, crisp packets, heroin needles, chewing gum, bits and bobs of paper, smashed bottles, tins and bottles of White Lightening etc etc.

Is there really any need for it?

Obviously the threat of a ‘fine’ isn’t working. We should start locking the evil b*stards up!

I’d say 3 months in prison should suffice.

I know you’ve posted a chain about putting all sorts into prison, but I’ll give a sensible reply to this thread.

Leaving dangerous litter, like broken glass, should be seen as a separate, more serious offence. If you just happen to break a beer bottle, by accident, in a childrens’ playground, it should be your legal responsibility to clear up all the broken glass and the punishment for not doing so should include the possibility of prison in some cases.

These are my real views. But I agree, Bassing! Littering is dangerous. Heroin needles, broken glass bottles. These people belong in prison, full stop!

You support children being harmed by broken glass bottles and heroin needles? :?

I’m not the one who belongs in a padded cell love if you condone such things.

Perhaps it’s because you’re a litterbug yourself and you feel guilty because you’re the type of person who endangers innocent children’s lives?

I think you should hang yourself for such evil. Not permanently though, I’m a liberal. I think 3 months hanging should suffice.
