hey born xxx never say never. this place fills a void in many peoples lives, in others its just a diversion.

I stumbled across just chat by accident , no conversation at home after work and all my freinds are married so difficult just to ‘drop by’ as they have other stuff to do , they dunt want their ‘single’ friend dropping in fgs every five minutes…… so the rest is history, here I have stayed.

However, when I first started using chat there was almost a need to be on 24 hours a day. almost fanatical i suppose (but i cant be the only one)……these days I come in as and when it suits me to be honest…..

my point is that whilst this place fills a gap, or is a social outlet people do outgrow it….. people move on….. that said in times like the stormy ones that have been in forum three tends to get people bored and fed up with what is supposed to be a ‘social outlet’ everyday life has enough trials and tribulations without conflict in this place too.

however, the dynamics of this place have changed since the new format, you come through the lobby now to find people chatting, there are a lot of new people. some refugees from other chat rooms that have closed. Once familiar names have dissapeared and with them go the comfort zone many of us felt…. some have just gone as their lives have moved on, some have gone because of constant conflict, some have gone just because they dont like the format … for whatever reasons the logistics of just chat forum 3 has changed and I think there is a little part in all of us that doesn’t like change.

As far as the conflict goes, I sensed this morning some bridges were being built…. (can always live in hope I guess) but there will always be the chatters who are only here for one upmanship, never been in control on the outside world, but do have the anonimity of a faceless computor screen they can vent their own failings and frustrations….. I have grown with this place born and it was a haven for a while…. probably the same goes for you, but dont just leave , dont say never, a lot of people think a lot of you born and I do know your freinds here far outweigh your ‘enemies’ ……

Born Hun, i have only known u a short while and have enjoyed chatting to u, but u must do what u have to do. We will all miss u and hopefully one day u will return to Forum 3. Take care and may health and happiness be yours.
