thought for the day?
i spent 36 hours watching someone close to me die last weekend, he had empahysemia, copd, prostrate cancer , and yet, every lifes breath to stay here he fought for , as i left the hospital i couldnt help thinking to myself i must enjoy and make the most of this precious life, if someone that ill could hang on so long not wanting to let go, its very precious indeed x
My great uncle died of exactly the same illnesses Cath and it’s so hard to watch them fighting for every last breath. Today I heard about someone who has touched a lot of lives who died suddenly yesterday, early 50s, no warning. Life is precious, it can be taken away at any time, sometimes we know it’s coming, sometimes we don’t. It is a precious gift to be treasured and not squandered, we should make the most of it and count every small blessing along the way.
(((((((((( hugs )))))))))) for you Cath xxxx
