Respect is not something given because age, time of year or any other circumstances, yet something earned. Respect comes as a two way street in all situations and circumstances. Just because one is elderly they should not expect it, just because one is younger, then should not be the only ones showing it.
Do unto others (has no age restrictions or limitations placed upon it)…….
Andy.

I love reading your posts Ruby, wish I were clever with words like you. I have a real mental picture there of you struggling through the snow for your vehement Mother in Law.
Merry Christmas Ruby!

14 December, 2010 at 12:18 pm #413022Ruby, you have the infinite knowledge that Karma means what goes around comes around. As life balances itself out, things right themselves, catholic guilt is passed over, every “dog” has its day so to speak. You do what you do, not to gain anything, but to help someone. There is no better example and no better sample of being a decent human being. Something that so many people can not say.
