Right…see if you lot can help…(🙏🙏🙏🙏).
Have a samsung A20e. When I set it up..I made a password…problem…I cant remember it….so…I need to do a hard reset…BUT…I cant ,have to turn it off..cant do that because…yep…cant remember the password!! 🤬🤬🤬
I’ve pressed this button, that button…next step is next doors pond. So before my NEW phone goes in the pond…HELP!
- In the first step hold down the Power button and tap on Restart icon two times from the menu.
- If the phone vibrates or the SAMSUNG Galaxy logo shows up press Volume Up + Power key together for a couple of seconds.
- When Recovery Mode appears let go of all keys.
Tried that..cant…I need the stupid password to reset it or turn it off….🤬🤬🤬
What about phoning the company you got it from or technical support x

Got it from Sky mobile, and I’ve tried samsung support,,,worse than useless. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Fingers crossed one of these methods work for you. In the future I suggest screenshot of your passwords and hiding the pictures. I was locked out of an account once here that had was the most ridiculous password. You never know, whatever name/number combination may come to you, remember try capslock off and on just in case.

Thanks Sara. I’ll give that a try. this is serious stress I really dont need right now. I only got the poxy thing so mum can ring me when we go on holiday if she has too.
In future just ask morg to look after your passwords
