So a civil (as I think this has been) exchange of views, being open to each others viewpoints, is a discussion. There’s a fine line between a discussion and a row/argument, the line is crossed when people become entrenched in their viewpoints, refuse to listen to the viewpoints of others and descend into abuse of anyone who doesn’t agree with them, usually becoming quite personal.

It is quite acceptable end a discussion holding onto your own point of view and amicably agreeing to disagree without any of the parties losing face, but this seems to be an alien concept on JC. :wink: :lol:
