Port Sunlight is named for sunlight soap. The village was established for the workers at the levers factory . The houses in the village are now protetcted. it is a lovely little place.
That s the same guy w h lever was made lord leverhulme in 1917 . The pike on the hill is a 1190 foot summit if anyone fancys a walk up its an amazing view and has names and dates scraped in the stone like old age grafiti from 1800s lol. Been there a few times makes a good walk on sundays b4 dinner then walk down through the gardens to rivington hall built in the 17th century anyway on mi phone here so it only a short one lol will post pics of winter hill from my cycle adventures wen i get on a comp

I think it fantastic how they can do these photos . couldnt do anything like that when i was carrying my girl .
