Anyone seen this? It’s crap. Some of the worst acting I’ve seen in my life. And what’s with the kid’s fake fall in the shop? “Oh, let me just gently get down on my knees, then gently lay down.. Ohhh… ow! I fell over.. whoops!”

    GET SOME ACTING LESSONS FFS

The sh!ttest skinhead film I’ve ever seen.

Not a patch on Romper Stomper 8)

Oh I thought it was a damm good film..Romper stomper was ANTI skinhead..in the end it was proven that they looked daft !
I thought this film to be jolly well good as im a great fan of Shane Meadows.for folks of a certain age it was a real trip down memory lane as even the contents of the shops had 1970’s products etc..

I loved it Tom…I thought the wee guy was a brilliant wee actor too ! LOVED the 1970’s flashbacks to news etc..I watched it with my son and found myself explaining the whys and werefores of the topical news !

ya seen Dead mans shoes ??

I thought it was ok. I just wish the director didn’t feel like he had to send the main character paranoid just because he was a skinhead and right winged. It would be much better if the skinhead character rose from nothing, got politically involved and ended up running the country making it great again.

The director was on the south bank show recently, seems like a nice chap.

You should watch DEAD MANS SHOES by the same director…it blew me away…couldnt speak for about an hour after seeing it…I didnt think much of this is england either to be honest…he’s also directed ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE MIDLANDS which is also worth a look 8)

I didn’t mind the storyline of This Is England, it was just.. well.. the actors, they were so bloody rubbish!
