Pretentious people who think that their use of big words makes them somehow superior to everyone else…there is no point in using big words if the people you’re talking to (or at) can’t understand what you’re saying…it rather defeats the purpose of speaking. Tailor your communication to suit your audience.
and before anyone is up in arms thinking this is aimed at them, it’s aimed at a real-life customer who tried to belittle every other customer in my shop. He soon shut up when I spouted equally big words back at him and in the correct context.

I should have known the call was only because they wanted something not because they wanted to talk to me !!!! Oh and to add insult to injury too . . . and boy was that the ultimate insult !!!!!
