Broken Promises.
The whole country has ground to almost a halt due to the weather. Schools closed, supermarket shelves stripped bare of bread with the exception of a smashed packet of Warburtons crumpets.
Peeps have been pulling out all the stops to get to their place of work, I have even been forced to get to work on the bus fgs! :lol: Then,………. who arrives on my doorstep this morning ?? …………The bliddy Jehovah Witnesses thats who, clutching their latest Watchtower magazine!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr He nearly got told where to stick it too. Still the persistance of them made me chuckle too.
I guess it’s an ideal time to catch folk at home innit. :wink:

you shouldlive here then . . no snow to talk of, people aren’t going insane and panic buying, plenty of supplies . . and haven’t seen a jehovas witness for years !!!!

Customers who expect you to be open on time with all the papers on the shelves…even though you do not live in the village where the shop is and the papers come from the area where police have had to close off alot of roads for safety reasons :evil:
Cash points that wont give out less than £20! If I want £10 y do I have to take out £20? Obviously, the other £10 doesnt go back in to the bank so , next week, the £10 that i had allocated for that week has gone!
I realise that this may not annoy everyone but for ppl such as myself ie unemployed , it is a damn nuisance. Further, there are times that I only have £10 left in the damn bank!
To really add insult to injury most banks now, including my own, refuse to give u less than £30 in cash as on over the counter payment!
