I was complaining about having a sore toe the other day and someone said “never mind your sore toe, think of all the people who have lost their legs and have to be pushed around in wheelchairs – stop your complaining.” They always say that to comfort you when you complain of something but I think that’s no bloody good whatsoever – it only makes me more miserable thinking about the poor person in the wheelchair.
Somewhere in JC there must be someone who is worse off than everybody else. I think it would be a very good idea to have a competition to see who is the person in JC who is worse off and more miserable than anyone else. All the people who have a grumble should be invited to enter a post on this thread telling everyone what their trouble is. I think people would be interested in knowing who is the Worst Off Person in JC.
Bald/Fat Bloke could start us off by saying “I am bald and fat and I am the Worst Off Person in all of JC.” Then, Fem Size 24 could come along and say “Rubbish, Bald/Fat Bloke, I am fatter than you and my husband has just been eaten by a shark.” Eventually, after everyone has had their say, someone would be elected Worst Off Person in JC – balder than Bald/Fat Bloke, fatter than Fem Size 24, more miserable than PB. He would be elected Super Misery and Martin would parade this person around the forums on a Sunday after Antiques Roadshow so he could complain about how wretched he was and tell us all about his diseases.
I think it might cheer people up a bit in this cold weather.
