Bassingbourne……..my son was on a train a couple of months back, he was wearing a T.shirt that i’d gotten for him at an Eric Clapton concert. It has a guitar on the front and on the back is a signature of Eric Clapton, underneath which is the word ”Blackie”, it’s the name he calls the guitar which is on the front. He was approached by a black woman who said she was offended by the T.shirt as it was racist. He told her it was a guitar and the name of the guitar was blackie, that he wasn’t being racist at all, he also suggested she should get a life!!!!
