It seems that England have lost again to Belgium.

All right, I know nothing about the game, have spent my life avoiding the game, even being beaten up at school for refusing to handle the ball…

but I don’t think England were winners. They played very competently as a team, had an excellent goalie, but you need more than that.

maybe in 4 years time?

As you have said more than once, you know nothing about Football so why even comment if not to stir up trouble. :negative:

Evoke some emotions and fury from the mindless lower classes ….   card marked, sorry Ge , you had his card marked so long ago. I try and give people the benefit of the doubt, though a bit of a cynic at heart.

Brimming with gusto and confidence from his 100,000 to 250,000 demonstration which he actually didn’t attend, he now feels he has to rub England fans noses in the dirt ( after all they are all tribalistic  morons) as he has actively avoided football his whole life , they even name called him at school for it !!  Wow, even as a young child he realised that being a footy follower made you ignorant and stupid !!    or maybe being poor at sports gave him a massive ship on his shoulders ?

Don’t shoot the messenger for the message.

Actually I just refused to take part in sports. When I was 12, I was pinned to the floor in the changing rooms by the tough lad in the school and he punched me in the face over and over until I said sorry.

He didn’t look too proud of himself afterwards, and was always a bit shamefaced in front of me afterwards.

After he stopped hurting me, I heard someone saying that at least I was honest, and that some of the others didn’t like it either but just cheered.

I was treated with a respect after that. That”s working-class people for you. Real working-class people.

The “real working class” Voted Brexit. En masse.

The ‘cor blimey guv the Krays woz one of us’ is a load of old pony, an urban myth. Just like your heartbreaking tale of woe, while you clumsily attempt portray yourself as a cross between main protagonist in ‘The Tragic Hero’ and Che Guevara simply because you didn’t like sport at school.

The real working class don’t care tuppence for middle class liberals like you and your identity politics that brands that real working class as “turkeys voting for christmas” and ignorant savages who are xenophobic and racist.

    :good:

and just think, this was supposed to be about football.

I was treated with a respect after that.

    haha if you say so

    #1100564

well, yes, I do say so.

The thing about Brits is, or was, that they had respect for someone willing to stand up and not give in to pressure.

mind you, when I left the secondary modern for the grammar school  at 14, I found the atmosphere very different. much more vicious. There were some explicit nazis in that grammar school *wonders if they’re alt.Right now.

    anyway..

did you agree with me about the England team?

Mine is a genuinely amateur opinion, though milky, who does know something about football, seemed to be saying much the same thing on the other thread. My apologies to milky if I got him wrong on that.

I said some time ago England had no chance of winning the world cup and primarily got to the latter stages due to an easy draw rather than real quality.

I also said I thought Brazil would lose to Belgium so it’s no great shock England did…England are mediocre and exposed when confronted with a half decent side.
