Nice of your mate though

know exactly what you’re on about there  I lost a whole day to that stuff, was very hard explaining to my employer why I wasn’t in the day before. Truth was I didn’t even know i’d been ‘out’ of it for a whole day. I argued for hours that it was tuesday when in fact it was wednesday

I’m with you on that one… can’t stomach the stuff after drinking wayyyy too much red and not being able to get up the next day. I was a zombie for hours.

Weirdly never happens as badly with white.

one of the first hangovers that sticks in my mind was when Hooch was fairly new in bars (you know, that lemon alcopop) Me and my friends drank bottle after bottle of the stuff all night and puked our guts up. I could never bring myself to drink it ever again. Had a really bad southern comfort night as well which involved kareoke  the smell of it still makes me want to barf :-…

Typically.. my three fave sauces are probably the worst three for hangovers – Guinness, Whiskey, Red Wine

Now.. drinking (and staying on) one of these for the whole night can be marginally ok with the whole “next day I have a head like a mad raving b@stard” scenario. But (as was the case yester-evening) I rarely stick to the same, singular libation.. and proceed to get wonderfully wa.nkered!

    Innit!!!

variety is the spice of life  I love red wine and guiness and even when out I will often have a half a guiness with a red wine, they do compliment each other very nicely.
