20 September, 2008 at 1:32 pm #373296I am not a slave to fashion but I kinda “keep up” without thinking about it, I have my own style and pick through whats in to see if it suits what I already where, I buy alot of classic items and throw in a few fasion items.
Recently I was at my sons parents evening, I was wearing, a victorian styled hat, you know the kind, the one which then became the 60’s mary quant hat, I was wearing a milatry styled jacket, skinny fit jeans with knee high boots and a pair of leather gloves. Any how, my son got bullied for weeks after because all the boys where saying I was plastic, and dressed weird
Now I know I am not normal run of the mill when it comes to clothes but I won’t bow down to being a mumsie mum  :lol:I spend alot on clothes, I enjoy being different but I am not Ms fasionista!

btw I heard he’s been demoted to Corporal now.
It seems he’s been tampering with his uniform.
Pink doesn’t work so well on the parade ground .:lol:

Pretentious… Moi? 8)
Anyroad.. I went with the second option, though at times it is borderline – what with some of the silly stuff nowadays.
I think it would be most odd of me to say Absolutely NOT, for if that were the case I could be wearing all manner of hilarious stuff – A fedora on top of a yellow cardigan on top of blue hose on top of green platforms for instance.. Hmm… then again :-k .Surely to TOTALLY dismiss the fashion of the current time or any time (eg any of the various “Retro” looks) would be a curious peculiarity , no?
20 September, 2008 at 4:15 pm #373299My darling boy, Esmeralda INVENTED the Gothic look long before anyone knew what it was.
Nowadays..I favour long tight skirts..high buttoned cardigans..black stockings and shiny black button boots. I love to dress my hair into a piled bun with two long braids, and I can go with or without makeup..but prefer to rim my eyes black and smouldering and my lips pale.
Honeypie..I NEVER follow fashion..I’m a leader!20 September, 2008 at 4:33 pm #373300@*Sian wrote:
