Nearly any adult will tell you that lying is wrong. But when it comes to avoiding trouble, saving face in front of the boss, or sparing someone’s feelings, many people find themselves doing it anyway. Some people say ” I never lie” well that’s a lie!!We all lie from time to time We make it sound innocent when we call it a fib. Lies rank from the small ‘white lie, to bold face whoppers.” So why do we do it? What lies have you told? it could be lying to save face, lying to be nice, lying to get ones way, lying to shift the blame etc etc .

IS the truth about lying an oxymoron?
My most recent lie was to a fella I had a second date with, he made me steak. I wanted it medium rare, he cremated it. I said it was lovely and made yummy noises. It wasn’t yummy.

I always finnd the people who constantly say “I don’t lie” or “I’m not a liar” are weird and I’m not sure why they need to harp on about it…..maybe they are the complete opposite
but yes going back to Sophia’s original post we all massage the truth shall we say lol…..the other day my little one told a friend I was talking to I check what time he’s been online through his WhatsApp!! Of course I denied it because I didn’t want him to set his setting to private!!
I lied when I pretended to be upset their goldfish died but I was so fooking glad I tell you
