at work, using excell i have made a program called the traffic book, nothing great, and only using v basic really

all what it does, is keep tracks of drives, how many pallets they have picked up during a day, how man of these pallets are next day or economy, where they have been picked up from and where they are going, also at the end of the week it works out a bonus for each driver, depending on how many pallets they have picked up (£2 a pallet for rigids, £1 for arctic drivers)

now what i want to know is can i some how use access along side excel, as i want a data base to store the information, but i want excell to work out the calculations, i not got the program with me at home, but if anyone wishesh to help me design somthing better then the way its done at the moment, i would gladly send it to you tommorow via email or even post a link and store it

    many thanks

I tried a posting asking for Access help on here a little while ago Soulie…………..no answers from anyone here…………..

Have you tried exporting into Access from Excel ?

i need it to run along side it, if you look at my program, it holds a lot of information, i rather this information be kept in an access database, rather then my spreadsheet, so it can be easily sorted and filed and easily accesible for future reference

Convert an Excel list to an Access database
If you have a large Excel list and you want to take advantage of the Access data management capabilities, security, or multiuser capabilities, you can convert the data from Excel to an Access database. Use this method when you want to move the data from Excel into Access to use and maintain the data in Access from then on.

    Try this page Soulie.
