I STILL get abusive messages such as the ones below on an almost daily basis.
The abusers know that they are being protected by the chat guides, and that nothing will be done to prevent them.
What a silly person you are! Those messages were in PM as you know. Saying abusers know they are protected by Chat Guides is an infantile statement and shows a distinct lack of intelligence. Report them and don’t accept messages in pm then you won’t have to read them.

Took him years just to consider blocking the trolls, this site still has a tonne of issues that I doubt will ever be addressed.
He’s done the best he can on that one by removing the numbers.
Consider this… Third Echelon…. one of the worse trolls that have been here for years, is STILL here lol

Thinking that Martin Reed actually cares about this is the real issue, nobody did anything when I was regularly being Doxed and having death threats made against me and my family because I am Bisexual.
You had these threats regularly but you still continued to log on? After the first one I would have left.

LMAO…. He has done the best he can….. no he hasn’t… if you understood the basics of how a site like this works you would realise that he could have done a hell of a lot more a lot sooner, be he CHOSE not to do so.

That is the perfect example of why this site has so many issues, you don’t consider taking responsibility yourself, you just put it on the chatters.
I am not the sort of person to just run away when I find an environment threatening, I work hard to try and change it for the benefit of all.
Anyway…. it is clear now that it wont change for the good, expecting chatters to self-police when you give them no tools to do so is a joke.
BTW…. maybe it would be a good idea to consider this…. when a chatter complains to the admin that they are being threatened and are fearful…. instead of saying

Perhaps say something like.. “I am sorry to hear that, as a paying customer I will make sure that you get the service you paid for, it is very important to keep this a safe environment for all”
You know… the sort of thing most companies do for most customers lol
When I pointed out to Drac why is she still accepting PMS from that nasty troll she replied she cannot block him because hes invisible…………………how many times do I need to say it!!!….you can effing block someone from the chat window…hover over their name and its the same options as if they were in the list on the left! Considering you think you know everything Drac I am surprised you don’t know this simple instruction….I have said it numerous times in the room when someone says they cant block a certain chatter
Keep reporting it to the relevant people….that’s all you can do…or sadly just leave…go to somewhere you can chat without being abused….all you do is moan about something or another yet stay even though you said you are leaving…..now I am not trying to help you go….I am merely pointing out options we all have….I have had my fair share of abuse like probably 99% of chatters and guides included here….yes I leave for periods of time but I come back….god knows why sometimes lol
As for everyone pointing out the obvious about the current state of JC……..things change…times change…..there needed to be a change because of all the abuse done by guests and yes that has killed the site….however not many chatters were around just before the change because of the constant spamming etc..it was already on its knees……
If JC closes down its not the end of the world…..it really isn’t….and if a few smugs want to say “I told you so” let them say it…..the site wont be here for anyone to read their comment…..in the grand scheme of things….its no big deal

agree it can be a toxic environment, I currently have Drac blocked because she randomly started trolling me a few weeks back.

I’ve reported it to you before in other ways also, you have been aware of this for months.

You point has gone way over your head, as usual.
The official position of this site is that no form of abuse is permitted, which was repeatedly stated when all guests were banned from the site, even the innocent ones.
If this was the real reason then all of the other people who abuse should also have been banned long ago, but they haven’t.
So what was the real reason for banning guests?
