i have a friend who went to cuba some years ago……….while he was there Fidel castro died………from the moment of his death no music of any kind was allowed to be played ……i don’t know how long the ban went on for but it certainly sends out a potent message
At many times Mr Castro has been reported dead – without ever actually dying!
He’s still with us I believe.I saw this Taliban story this morning. It was a celebration and the taliban objected to the fact both men and women were ‘mingling’ and celebrating together.
These people are evil, simple as.Afghans have known nothing but war, its so sad.
eeeerm…what has Fidel Castro got to to with the Taliban ? Why do the right wing supporters leap in and defend anders Brevik? and use socialism as a form of scapegoat ?

started off 20 rangers supporters that call themselves the scottish defence league ! and now the entire EDL is meant to be coming LOL.. saw them in blackpool last year, all wee fellas that were probably bullied ( wrongly) at school and never got in the Police Force or Army.. They use any excuse to spin their Hatred.. this is a left wing City..
If we tolerate this then our children WILL be next..
ruby red is absolutely right here – any smear goes for some people. Pretty soon, the Left will be accused of ebing behind the Tia Sharp murder, no doubt.
The latest I heard is that the Taliban are denying it. The killing were caused by a tussle over two women bytwo Taliban commanders – like a Galsgow barrom brawl I guess – do the behead people in Glasgow bar-room brawls, though??
The Taliban are evil – we should never have backed them in th 80s. So is the regime which overthrew the corrupt Quaddafi – their supporters are now destroying teh churches of moderate pacific Moslems (Sufis), while torture of opponents in Libya has now become the norm, I was reading in my paper recently.
Islam does not appeal to me, but most Moslems I’ve met are gracious respectful people. A minority are very intolerant.

Were worse off under the tories because LABOUR couldnt manage the money pot properly. They were voted out because they were crap at playing goverment. They created more” jobs for the boys” than any other goverment. Some people are so gullable as to believe its the Tories fault for the state were in. Any fool knows if youre skint you dont keep borrowing, any fool except Labour that is. Labours intentions are good but they try to please everyone all the time and fail miserably, get elected out and leave the mess for someone else to clean up.When it gets better Labour bounch back and want to play goverment again. Its the same cycle thats been going on for decades.

New labour accepted Thatherism. Blair with a smile said he wanted nothing to do with socialism, worked closely wiht Murdoch. His mate Mandelson said he was very relaxed wiht people becoming filthy rich. Bankers were allowed to let rip. Cameron was chosen as Tory leader in 2005 because he was the nearest thing the Tories had to Bliar.
nd it’s stupid just to point the finger at New Labour. It was happening throughout the world.
Read your history, handyman, rather than sitting there making it all up. It’s nothing to do wiht parties or individuals, no matter how pathetic they are. These problems have been caused by a banking syustm whihc went belly-up. Neither Tory nor Labour are addressing that, and there is a growing feeling that next time will be worse.
Scep there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that there will be a next time, and it will be worse – unfortunately :(
