so let me get this clear you believe in the ‘soul’ a concept only truly used by religious factions and also in an ‘afterlife’ yet again another religious tool but you don’t believe in a God/Goddess/supreme being of any other nature. If I can safely presume this to be true then might I pose the query of what it is you actually do believe in, the closest thing which I assume that you are basing your belief upon is the most basic principle of physics, that of the continuation of energy, which states that energy can neither be created or destroyed only changed

cheers pete, well i aint religous, but as i said my family is, but they don’t shove it doon ma throat, we went doon to the boat the day, and onroute as my new automatic wheels im drivin again lol the cd or radio aint tuned in yet, my wee lass, as she believes and goes to church etc, was singin the bible song… and afew others and this little shinning light lol i believe in living each day as ur last, as end of the day ur a long time died aint ya, but i have said if i couldnt cope with an illness that wasnt cureable, ill decide when the time is right, as when we watched, with the cancer of my dad, grandpa, was traumatising… especially my dad as he was a huge guy and when he died, his bones were stickin oot, and he hated his appearance, the worst was my grandad whom had Altziners that spelt rite, him not knownin any of us, and turning into a child, i had to stay away in the end as it was horrible to witness…
hense one of my questions in life about GOD, and ive chatted with my uncle whoms a minister, and we agree to disagree as he can’t give me a saifactory answer … IF there is a GOD, my grandad n grandpa, served him faithfully throughout there lives, spread his word etc, and died 2 horrible deaths… and then for a minister to turn and say, God be with you… yeah u can tell him to eff rite aff…!! look at the world 2day, half of the shyte is to do with religion… sad, sad… rite im jibberin lol
that’s the thing about religion, it promises all the answers, then give you jack sh!t and then criticises you for ‘a lack of faith’ or else says some half-baked cr4p such as ‘God works in mysterious ways’
I aint religious but consider these two options
If you take Jesus as your saviour you’ll go to heaven if you dont you’ll go to hell for eternity with gnashing and wailing forever
or
you just die and thats it the end
if you take the first “option” and you’re wrong you’ll never know.. if you take the second one and you’re wrong ???
so ‘better to die with hope than live in despair’ or something

depends on whether youre right or wrong not really any way to know till ya die then youre either gonna know or it wont make a damn bit of difference
