WE here in the States have affordable housing in our communities. Many of us laugh as some use old terms called “Projects.” Actually they are apartments. Some are in beautiful areas of towns and the others not so nice in tuff areas we call well. Umm…..

They were for temporary placement till people of very low income or none and illegals to be sheltered and be able to find employment or be supplemented to get back on feet. If I recall was term limit of 5 years. Under Biden new proposal or Executive order…allows them to establish a higher based income. When reached suppose to move on. Dr. Ben Carlson in charge of HUD for many years now says this new plan for these low income families may not  be established and will stay in much longer term.  Basically also said people will not look for jobs. This housing was temporary purposes. Not permanent.

When i stayed at the Park Plaza London Riverbank Hotel i recall one day walking side of building to back area just site seeing. I was amazed that such a beautiful expensive Hotel had behind it those type of buildings I see in n.y.c. behind there. That looked like low cost building or this project type area.
