That’s what some people will have you believe but where I work they’re queuing up next to the the clocking out machine ten minutes before the end of shift.
Does anybody here rate them as hard workers? My experience tells me different but I’m only making my judgement based on the 15 or so that I work with.

i think british jobs shud be for british ppl sarah… howeva britian is full of british ppl anymore… we are black, white, english, polish, chineese, indian etc.. but then again… wot do i know i’m just a scouser that lives in manc. :D

The polish people we see everyday seem to be very hard working people. There is a power station not far from here and alot of them live in the village, so shop here too. They work hard and they treat themselves too (buy loads of alocohol  ). Alot of the ones that we see are very well educated and are engineers etc at the power station and are very polite too i may add. The power station has been involved in lots of strikes because of the working situation. These Poles came over because their company won the contract for work, its not their fault they are just providing for their families. Its very hard to be away from your family for months on end and to financially run a house here and send money back home, but they do it. Lots of us have problems trying to run the one house  .

William im not sure what you are trying to say “howeva britian is full of british ppl anymore”

Britain has always been a melting pot of nationalities throughout history…dare I say that there is no such thing as “British” beyond living in the British Isles?

Puts body armour on for the onslaught of the pro-brit lobby…

William, you can be indian chinese and black and still be british. I’m Indian born here so I’m british. My grandad fought in the british army. If you mean English, then, alot of white people are not “proper” english either. Lots are mixed with scottish and welsh blood. (likes jen waits for onslaught  )
