The turkey thing worked out ok I ripped the left leg off and plonked it on my plate before anyone noticed, so job done!
Now my sons girlfriend is champing at the bit as she wants us to play Golden Balls and Cluedo (which she conveniently brought with her). Oh Joy! I hate board games, always have and always will. Try as I might I cant think of a good excuse how to avoid it. But as I only had time for half a glass of wine yesterday and ended up feeling like a dishrag and ready for bed at 9.00pm, Ive decided while they are out visiting friends I shall make up for lost time and drain that box of wine sat in the fridge!
When they come home they will find me passed out on the settee, mascara smugged down my face, hair dishevelled and grease stains embedded down the front of my dressing gown. They will feel so sorry for me as I have worked so hard to please them, they wont dare to ask me to sit bolt upright and play some silly game to find out who did it? Will they?
