I’m not suprised Fabio Capello has resigned nor am I that really bothered. I think after the world cup it was obvious he’d lost the respect of the players. So who will be the next manager? Harry ( I can’t read, write, use a computer, don’t know what an email is, don’t know how to send a fax and have never sent a text ) Rednapp I sincerely hope not. Yes he’s a good manager but I would rather Stuart Pearce took charge for the forthcoming Euro competition. He’s done wonders with the under 21’s and I think he should be given a chance. As for the FA, what a joke they are!!!

We had the USA, Slovenia and Algeria, and we struggled like it was a group of death. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I have never once approached a tourney with the expecation of winning it, or with any expectation whatsoever really. But it was just pathetic, the way we went about it all. It was clear that a lot of the players couldn’t give a crap. England are, and have been for many years… overrated. Simple. The sooner the shackles are taken off the better. Why can’t we go into a tournament with no pressure on us whatsoever? Who knows what may happen then eh? The media, of couse are the biggest to blame for that, as they big it all up time after time.
As for next manager, well the top English manager (although I don’t like him), is Harry Redknapp at this moment in time. But personally, like you say, they may aswell give Stuart a chance .. even if it’s just for the Euros. Infact, I’d even give it to someone like Neil Warnock, or Chris Kamara.. for a laugh! We’re not going to win it, so we may aswell enjoy ourselves ffs.
And yes, the FA are useless as always..23 February, 2012 at 1:47 am #489358Good suggestion that Mr Warnock should get the job, but the FA would never consider him as he’s too outspoken towards them despite him being an excellent manager. Why QPR sacked him is mind boggling. Since my last post, he’s been appointed as Leeds United manager, my club have sacked our manager and appointed Mr Keith Curle (one of Mr Warnocks staff) as our new manager. Martin Allen who was sacked was very popular with our fans and as a result many so called fans have thrown a hissy fit !!! Abuse has been sent to our chairman and his family, who so far has put £7 million into the club and despite us still losing £250,000 a month is still there. Football is indeed a funny old game as they say. Oh well onwards and upward I hope. I look forward to the Euro’s this summer and I sincerely hope Mr Pearce is allowed to pick the team he has faith in. I really do think that it’s time for the younger players to be given a chance, the likes of John Terry et al have had their moment and failed us too many times in the past.
PS We won tonight, the support for Mr KC and his sunshine band was great and all those that condemned the decision are now eating humble pie ( I ended on a musical note as I’m a happy Magpie) 8)
