What did you replace the crumpet with? Alcohol?
Just noticed this. In my experience “crumpet” prefer a man in moderately good shape, albeit with a ‘belly’, compared to a skinny tent peg that looks like it just escaped from a 6 month stint in a health farm, for example someone who looks just like you.

I think ladies prefer a man who drinks occasionally rather than a fantasist who is stoned out his bonce all day and night, that’s my experience anyway.
