Photographic memory is basically just good visual memory, many people on the autistic spectrum have this so called memory eg; they cant imagine soething when asked to such as a church they have to remember a church they’ve seen. but scientists now tend to think that photographic memory is basically a myth.
The American cognitive scientist Marvin Minsky, in his book The Society of Mind (1988), considered reports of photographic memory to be an “unfounded myth.”<sup id=”cite_ref-20″ class=”reference”>[20]</sup> Furthermore, there is no scientific consensus regarding the nature, the proper definition, or even the very existence of eidetic imagery, even in children.<sup id=”cite_ref-plato.stanford.edu_3-2″ class=”reference”>[3]</sup>
Scientific skeptic author Brian Dunning reviewed the literature on the subject of both eidetic and photographic memory in 2016 and concluded that there is “a lack of compelling evidence that eidetic memory exists at all among healthy adults, and no evidence that photographic memory exists. But there’s a common theme running through many of these research papers, and that’s that the difference between ordinary memory and exceptional memory appears to be one of degree.”<sup> </sup>
A few adults have exceptional memory’s but they are totally unconnected to intelligence.

Someone’s photographic memory has an awful lot of corrupted negatives.
I have a photographic memory actually, you silly old cretin, I just don’t feel the need to boast about it on the boards. You can’t point out a single lie I have ever told and neither can that cretin feeding you info.

In regards to your long essay to me on the other thread Sceptical I do hope it brought you closure. The times you have mocked Islam on these boards suggests to me you haven’t got a leg to stand on now when it comes to discussing “respect” for your own religious views.

There is no abuse in any of my posts, that is just your over sensitivity Sceptical…..People don’t type on these boards on serious topics, solely because of you.
and today
The cancerous, poisonous regs (some) on these boards and in the room, who have killed this site over the years. Refusing to leave, clinging on with their grubby finger nails. Scummy trolls, no decent person would put up with any of them. I wouldn’t piss on any of them if they were on fire.
