I don’t just mean on here in general, but i think people these days like to complain about things too easily, mostly just to get somthing a little bit cheaper or infact free, or just because they have a need to feel in control
the amount of people at work who phone up to complain, an instance last week, an accident occured and closed of the road, it was a bad accident, but the customer still demanded and complained that she was going to get her goods on the AM service, which she never paid for anyway, she was very snotty, very upper class, Demanding. Yesterday a formal compliant was made to the company and my name was mentioned, saying i did’nt do enough to resolve the situtation, we got her goods to her before ther 5.30pm deadline, but this was’nt good enough, because simply she was told normaly del’s were made in the morning
Lots of examples i could give, on here.. on points of veiw, people complain about a tv programme over stepping the mark, so what? don’t like it, don’t watch it.. why the need to be try and be clever about it, So what if the football is always on and you pay your licence fee to watch eastenders, Do we really give a sh!t? Get over it
so anyway, i want to complain about people who complain :D
off to work now :)
28 June, 2006 at 10:26 am #228594there’s not enough people who don’t complain in my eyes…. a classic one is people not checking bills in restaurants especially…. we went out on sat nite for a meal there was 5 of us… i reckon atleast £22 ahead… including drinks…. when the bill came it was £146.50 inwhich included 10% service charge … everyone was about to cough up… too easyly may I add… when I step in and said… wait give me the bill as thats not rite… the bill should of came to including the service charge £116.00 ….
so at times…. you should complain…
NTL rattled my bones the otherday… with this new offer 3 for £15 for 3mths… i checked me mam’s bill and she was payin £60 amth for the 3 services….. i was like… get on that phone and speak to someone.. thats £600 in 6mths… and u only get basic channels… so off she went with me in the background… now my mam is very polite and doesnt swear.. ( i tend to wonder if she’s my mam lol ) she explained to the man her complaint… and was told… exsiting customers the offer is not open to…. she would have to except the service she has…. inwhich I said… ask him to hold on a min… i told her you have been payin this for over 2 yrs now… so tell him nicely mam… unlike me to stick the 3 services so far up his ar5e he can feel it comin out his ar5e…. so mam went on and said… my daughter is here, and she said Ive just to cancel all 3 services… we’ll go somewhere else… to get the response… could you hold on a moment for me to talk with my line manager…. then he came back and said… we will give you the service for £34.99 for all free plus we’ll had on the kids package you bills will only rise if you call to mobile phones….
Im know i get aggressive and irrate and ratty when complaining in times before… now i get mam to do the phone calls… and i rant in the background … as at the end of the day… we tend not to realise its not the person taking the phone call who is at fault… they too are only doing a job….
i would love to hear a previous complaints phone call from ME lol i bet its used well for training purpuses lol

People on here are all complete sad acts, that’s why.
People seem to like complaining before they even inquire as to what something is about first.
Mainly because they’re humourless, drunken, sad act, bitter old cliquey tossers who can shove off out of my face !
Has someone upset ye Tommy….

:? This coming from somebody who has over 4,000 posts?
28 June, 2006 at 4:59 pm #228597In my experience, the majority of people who complain about government and/or local authority, do so to try to look clever.
I have a opinion on politics so I must be clever. But any fool can complain can’t you!

not just on here, people are like that as a whole, people like to shout of there mouths before really knowing the facts, it only ends up in them being red faced.. but too many people are too proud to say sorry afterwards
i can see why people complained about your post, as its what this world has come too.. you can’t make a joke about anything
a friend of mine was saying on saturday, he saw a young kid fall over, crying her eyes out, he could have gone and helped her up… but then what? he probably would have got accused of all sorts by her mother, ect ect
same thing happened last year with my mum, she found a kid who lost his mummy, so my mum took his hand and took him to a member of staff, as she was taking him the mother spotted her and gave my mum all sorts of abuse
the world we live in needs to step back every so often, and think, before mouths are opened

Well, I’m just going to assume here that neither of you have children. The world we do live in is crawling with pedophiles and kidnappings. The absoulte worse frear in my life is something aweful happening to my kid. The panic that I’ve felt when I’ve turned my back and not seen my boy behind me is terrifying, as if the devil was staring you in the face.
What happend to your mom Soulie was aweful. If that were me, I’d be thanking and hugging your mother profusely. I really don’t think what happend to her is the norm though. I’ve done the same as your mom and the mother was grateful I did. Thank God your mother did do it. Who knows what would have happend to that child if she did’nt. The right thing is not always easy. And I believe the same about your friend. His intentions were good and as long as they were, I see no problem with him helping that kid out.
