5 January, 2018 at 11:04 pm #1084792MIZZ so that isn’t true for every drink/smoker Justnothing – i did not say it is true at all, and i also said NOT ALL PEOPLE, i am just given my opnion, and i NEVER do say all this and most that, if i dont know all the facts, also i know mutibe things damage us mentally and physically, i know it is not all about alcho and or cigs.
MIZZ – Pet hate of mine is men of any age critisting older women as if they are perfect and can ‘score’ themselves a young chick. Why would a beautiful young woman go for a man so much older than her unless he is loaded and has heart condition? – i know 2 young people who like older people they are attracted to the older people more than the younger people or = the same, attraction is odd.

Not everyone has a repulsion at people much older than themselves, mixzzy, though many have.
I know of one 24 year-old woman, from a wealthy family and very attractive, who was very keen on a man much older than her in r/t jus a couple of years ago..
You did say it happens, but it strikes you as odd..
Hmmm..
it is indeed an odd world in which people feel revolted by older people, or people of a different colour, or people of the opposite sex.
Or another way of putting it
it’s an interesting world, in which people are curious and want to explore.
That desire for something different does indeed repel many, who really can’t udnerstand it.
Ah well, ya live and ya learn xx

6 January, 2018 at 1:45 am #1084810I will be first to admit openly who cares, but a point of truth and honesty one who had experience….
Not sure if my father older than mom by 10 years, my upbringing in mate searching quest..but….
My first true love I was 21. He was 18 years older,my senior…
Not look his age at all..guess factor why age never bothered me. Still does not.
Those close to my age, immature, unsettled, jerks looking for sex only. Sex not everything in a relationship…
No stability.I had a good job making good money. He as well alot of money.
But treated me a a lady. Opened doors, opened my eyes to culture not aware of. We travelled places because of his job, when I could go. We laughed, enjoyed company, 5 years together. Problem his culture was obsessive, controlling.. me not like that. Felt he owned me. No one does that or should for any woman feel they own them as property…mine started too. Felt trapped. Perhaps because he older, me much younger. Started to create issues. Felt uncomfortable. I walked away. Very very difficult for me. We were going to get married. He was very wealthy. I decided on life, not chains or wealth…
So maybe this story will help some to realize what can be like…
But my dad 10 years older. Married to my mother 62 years. God bless. No issues…
6 January, 2018 at 2:18 am #1084813I wasn’t hating on old women, how could I, my mother is one…
6 January, 2018 at 2:27 am #1084815Its an odd world and there is always the possibility that people (WHO ARE NOT SHALLOW) will be attracted to people purely for their personalities otherwise no unattractive or old or fat person would ever get laid. And may be some men/women will have a hangy neck/arse/boob/ball sack fetish. I think Ruth looks good and maybe you should look at her chubby old husband before judging her on her looks. Maybe they just love eachother and accept eachother for who and what they are.
Here Scept you appear to have conveniently missed a bit
And because you missed a massive huge part of what I was saying I shall just have to respond by saying maybe that poor 24 year old had no self confidence and was a bit crazy in the old boncie and no one else would have her.
Shes probably locked up in the attic JANE EYRE STYLIE as we speak.

I missed part of the the quotation, mizzy, but not its sense. I bore your full passage in mind as I wrote my response.
The young woman I was talking about is real. She was actually extremely self-assured, and held a responsible position in her professional student association. She’s now left the country to work for refugees in the Mediterranean. You have to feel pretty confident in yourself to do that.
Any interesting person is crazy by definition. You’re crazy; so am I. The conformists, who never try anything interesting or reach out to explore people, are not crazy.
You have a revulsion against old people. Fair enough. A lot of people do. A lot of people feel a deep fear and revulsion against inter-racial affairs, too.
Nobody’s forcing you to do what you don’t want to do.
But you shouldn’t make people who don’t share that revulsion feel bad. They have as much right to do anything without fear of being laughed at as you or I.
Just saying.
6 January, 2018 at 12:15 pm #1084874I have no revulsion of old people at all.
Youve misinterpreted what I’ve said.
Shame on you thought you knew me better.
Tut
As you were
