Lynching by Media – maybe….. but don’t forget that for the first several weeks the same Media were actively encouraging, supporting, and reporting on the world-wide phenomenon that was the McCann’s campaign and search for their missing (believed abducted) daughter.
But this ”missing” time also opens up a number of possibilities. It has always been said by the McCann defenders that they couldn’t possibly have done anything because they were under the Media spotlight 24/7. But this only happened over time – NOT right at the start.
The exact timeline has always been a closely guarded secret by the Police. From the original statement that they visited the children every 30 minutes – which we now know to be totally untrue – we learn that they last visited at 9.00pm when apparently Maddies was said to be OK and then at 10.05pm when they allegedly first noticed her missing.
The Police were not initially contacted until 11.07pm that night. Mrs PB doesn’t share my view on this matter, but even she has conceded that under the same circumstances her FIRST reaction would be to scream for the police long and hard.
Sorry McCann defenders – but i am well and truly on the record here as saying that I think they were in some active way involved with all this and I have seen no reason at all to change my opinion – far from it.

Portugese Police of course. Must be true.
You and your ilk are the ONLY people claiming ANYTHING is “true” lol, but obviously youre a bit too thick to realise that
Total innability to see all but ONE possibility is by default claiming that ONE possibility IS the actual one
Youre the one making totalitarian statements of there being no doubt about the details here, even tho you have nothing whatsoever to base that assumption on
The people youre accusing of “wildly” speculating ARE in fact JUST doing that, speculating POSSIBLE scenarios based on POSSIBLE signs or incongruences, which in a logical bode plot of associative probability is a very commonly used methodology of theorising
Whereas just “simply” (which is SOOOOO the perfect word) clinging in a complete and absolute lack of any facts of logic to ONE thought based on nothing but a feeling is not only quite retarded and lacking in common sense and the ability to think freely, but its also what youre actually doing but for obvious reasons dont have the common sense to realise it lol
Its a bit comical to criticise people for doing the exact same thing youre doing but to also think when you do it its somehow “different” lol
Rather than just whinging repeatedly about how theyre innocent how about stating one, JUST ONE actual reason other than social brainwashing for stating that? Because there have been many reasons stated for why people think they MIGHT have done it and yet you, the only person, or one of the very few who seems to think theyre right is stating that delusion of “rightness” with absolutely no basis for the assumption at all
Pavlov would have been EVER SO proud if he was reading your posts lol
9 September, 2007 at 10:18 am #286233erm..on behalf of bad manners..id say we were the only ones NOT making anything “totalitarianistic” …
im not a pavlovian,,skinner rocks !

An hours not a long time to bury the body matey. Did they bury it out of sight in that hour, so not even sniffer dogs couldent get the scent, get the stories concocted, and decide to face the world and tell the fib, whilst living with the knoledge they’d. acceidently killed their Daughter?
Sorry Mc Cann Witchhunters, but I am well and truely on the record here as saying that I think they were in no way involved in the apparent death, and have been framed, by a Police Force deseperate for results, and JustChat Members willing to believe all of PB’s Wild unfounded specualtion. :D
9 September, 2007 at 10:25 am #286235AND further to my fellow Scots reply..”DID” they find cold storage,,
25 days of decomposition is bad enough here,,but in Portugal..?
9 September, 2007 at 11:23 am #286236I,ll tell you something I read in the paper today that is interesting, is the apparant unwillingness of the friends who dined with the McCanns that night to talk to the media about, what, if anything they know. The following is quoted from the article which is on page 9 of todays Mail on Sunday.
“They are the key witnesses to maddies disapearance, the friends of Kate and Gerry McCann who could help unlock the mystery of what happened that fateful night. But despite their knowledge they have strangly said virtually nothing in four months.
As the McCanns embarked on a global publicity campaign to find their daughter, the group of friends closest to the couple, who were dining with them on May3rd when maddie vanished, were reluctant to talk.
That was only too evident when there was a report that a female member of the close-knit group might have seen maddie being carried away from the familys holiday apartment.
It was said the witness had become racked with guilt because thinking the toddler was the mans own child she had made no attempt to stop him.
She reported her sighting to Portugese detectives, but despite the massive media, campaign, refused to talk publicly about what she had seen.
Anxious to confirm the report at the time, The Mail on Sunday asked one of the McCanns friends, Dr Payne and her husband David, for an interview. Initially she indicated she was prepared to talk to this newspaper but changed her mind when the McCanns inexplicably advised her against it.”Also apparantly one of the doctors who works at the same surgery as Mrs McCann, told the Mail on Sunday he wanted to offer £100,000 for any information leading to maddies safe return. He asked to remain anonymous. Later however he became reluctant to discuss the matter and became hostile to any approach from the Mail on Sunday.
9 September, 2007 at 11:30 am #286237More anonymous souces, and people that dont want to be named!
Great stuff. This is a real blow to the McCannns case.9 September, 2007 at 11:30 am #286238I cannot speculate on WHAT happened to Maddie because (as has been said many times over) we simply don’t know all the facts. We simply have our own views on what we feel in terms of the culpability (or not) of the McCann’s conduct.
I just find the entire story told (allegedly) by the sainted McCanns utterly incredible. Without knowing HOW it happened, to my mind the most damning thing is the discovery of poor Maddie’s blood in the McCann’s car – which they only hired AFTER she was reported to have been abducted (or whatever).
Remember that this blood was NOT found by the Portuguese police but by British police. If, as has been said, the Portuguese police somehow framed the McCanns – you would have to consider how they got hold of some of her blood BEFORE she was reported missing three months ago – so that they could plant it later on when their investigation had apparently ground to a halt.
In other words they would have had to anticipate the entire thing in advance – not terribly likely eh? Anyway if they were going to plant evidence like this …. why not plant it in the apartment???

If the Blood Evidence was so convincing , why arent they sitting in a Cell right now.
Again tabloid gossip. -
