Feeding frenzy???….. well it is the ”hot topic” in the news right now so it isn’t entirely unreasonable that it seems to be the currently ”hot” thread on the Boards.

Disgraceful??? …. That may be your view and you are of course entitled to it. My view is that the McCanns are in some way involved with the ‘disappearance’ of Maddie and I have expressed that view right from the start – when most (but not all) others shared the view that they were the innocent victims of a terrible kidnapping / abduction. I really don’t see that it is ”disgraceful” to fly in the face of (then) popularly held opinion.

I would so like someone to tell me where the ”mistake” was made here. Leaving 3 small children alone, as they did, is not! a ‘mistake’,,,,,,,more a deliberate act!.

As for the statement of, they will pay for this for the rest of their lives. Well hasn’t Maddie then!!! Where are all the sentiments from those of you who think were mocking, and have arrogant smiles. From what i’m reading, your particular sentiments seem to be with the parents! when is one of you going to have any sentiment for that child. Who, lets face it, is the ultimate victim here. Victim of her parents selfish negligence.

I think the McCanns ought to take a look at Rhys’s parents, because thats real greif!! not a painted on greif for the camera’s…

    Sorry rant over :)

To belittle them and pour scorn on them every chance ya’ll have had. To make their visits to further the search for their Daughter into some sort of happy joy ride.
To continually pour scorn on every single thing they do. To judge their facial movements, and to try to be the judge of when theyre not showing enough emotion for your liking. Shameful.

What would you do BM, would you go have an audience with the pope, leave yr remaining two children in the care of others, when you’d just lost one?????

Trying to widen the search, The Pope’s an internationally known figure, sure to bring a lot of exposure to the search, in a lot of countries who probably hadnt heard of Madeline.
Yes, I think they did the right thing going to the Pope to further the search.

Just read a bit in the paper that i havent heard before (maybe you lot have) that the police and now focusing on a half hour the parents cannot make up for. They say they went for a meal at 8.30pm, but it is reported they didnt turn up till 9pm and they have no excuse for this missing half hour, and the police say it gives the parents a window to do away with maddie.

Portugese Police of course. Must be true.

Which even if an acurate assessment is surely better than a closed minded braindead one that thinks what its told to think and would in this instance be totally lacking in the mental acumen to think for themselves and question the validity of the Mcanns claims IF it turns out they did it

So a non daily mail nation WOULD using your “logic” totally be incapable of bringing any parent who killed their child into suspicion, let alone actually be charged with doing it

If those are the two options I much prefer the daily mail nation personally rather than what? A guardian nation that only thinks when told to think and even then only thinks what social doctrines dictate that they think and nothing else? Bit of a distopia that really

oh im all for sociological doctrines buddy….and im not one for NOT seeing the cognitive approaches that veer on psychology in THIS particular case.

and i thought you of all people..despite yer waffling ways were better than to adopt a ” guilt by newspaper” approach.

    och weel..
