Just been to get a drink from the fridge, my cat has shit behind it again! she is doing this regular or late, why, I really don’t know but all I know is I am sick of it, she has a litter tray!
Little bleeder, I wanna strangle her, she has fooked off hiding under the the dining table, she knows she is doing wrong.
I sprayed behind the fridge with a spray which works on stopping them scratching but it hasn’t worked, does anyone know of any products or ideas to stop this?!!!!
9 October, 2008 at 11:34 am #379511Sian if she,s an adult cat, get a cat flap and chuck her outside. Adult cats don,t need litter trays. If she,s a kitten, well then she,ll learn eventually. Failing that, take her to the vet and ask their advice.
9 October, 2008 at 11:38 am #379512:o I am not having a cat flap  I am not ruining my lovely new doors
Besides that they are out all day, she has come in and done it, she has been out, the back door has been open, she is an adult cat, the other one doesn’t do it, she is my naughty cat, do you think it is behavioural?9 October, 2008 at 12:14 pm #379513Pepper

9 October, 2008 at 12:46 pm #379515Okay..here’s an idea. Start feeding your cat as near as possible to the spot where she sh.its, as cats won’t urinate or defecate anywhere near where their food is. She might go hungry for a day or so..but this should definately stop her sh.itting there.
Don’t shout or be angry with her though..as the poor ickle thing won’t understand why.9 October, 2008 at 1:33 pm #379516Alternatively …. swat her firmly on the back of the head with a club hammer. It might make a bit of a mess on the floor, but is will definitely stop her crapping indoors !!!!!
9 October, 2008 at 1:34 pm #379517I was gonna suggest keep her out of the kitchen it’s a tad less drastic than PB’s suggestion
