I’m sorry poli, but she does start it. I agree with the rest of your post though.
oh, forgot my ps. there is no ‘ganging-up’, no clique that I am aware of, it is just people responding to what she types! About time Martin/woteverhisnameis did something about it methinks!
well i can only comment on what i see anc and she doesnt always start it, i’ve even seen comments directed at her when she’s been gagged and can’t even respond so …. facts is facts she doesnt always start it, not saying she doesnt start it too mind but she isn’t always the one to set it off… again

I’d go with the “do unto others…” thing.
Maybe I’m just soft but I always apologise if I think I have upset someone. Rarely I will intend to make a sharp reply but only after sustained and personally insulting abuse.
Hey, someone stuck a joiner with a beard on a bit of wood about 2000 years ago for saying wouldn’t it be lovely round here if we were all a bit nicer to each other. The joiner bloke may be a figment of somebody’s imagination, or you may prefer another spiritual fixer, but he kinda had a point.

hmmmmm yeah ‘he’ (the bearded-one) does have a point………however, so do we all, and we observe and comment – now’t wrong with that, as long as we are not mis-guided by hearsay, I am not. when I am involved, however, when I am on-line and see it for myself, I bliddy well will comment – bet he would too!

I cd comment and gie my views, but but the one constantly attacked has no effective right of reply on these boards. There’s such a thing as fair play – have a pop over there rather than here.
Poli, you see what I’ve seen. Good on you for attacking mobbing. I’ve seen it in action in the real world, and it’s deffo happening there. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone but Terry, and that’s only coz he hasn’t slipped me a fiver (yet)
Personally I don’t think Terry has been mobbed. He holds opinions that most people here don’t agree with and they say so. It only appears to be mobbing because he takes any opportunity he can to express the same opinions whenever he can and the same people take issue with them. That said, he has every right to express his opinions, however he has no right to tell others to stop expressing theirs.
As for the chatroom, it always has been pack mentality. At the moment the one that’s bearing the brunt is Claire, but it happens over and over again, just different victims. Maybe that’s what people come into chat for these days…it’s certainly not my thing which is why I hardly go in there these days.
Will it ever change? I doubt it, the names might change but pack mentality will prevail.
