That is what is going on, and the old regs (sorry folks I am not saying YOU are old!), are getting fed up with her – there, I have said it, and, I don’t care if I get banned for doing so, but it is the truth – she picks on someone and just ‘starts’ – if, like Panda says, you ignore her, she will ‘start’ on someone else. It just isn’t pleasant in the lobby in the evenings. :(

I’m old, no need to worry about calling me old, and I’ve been in JC for 2 or 3 years now. I know some of the score. I’ve not been in the chat room really since the start of this year.

I could say a lot, but all I’ll say is that Claire’s no saint (that covers a lot), and that I’ve always admired her guts when she’s confronted with a lot of hostility from a lot of peeps.

Perhaps I shouldn’t say that even, as it doesn’t seem right to talk about someone who doesn’t post on the boards – who has no effective right of reply.

So I will try, try, try to keep it free of particulars when I say that persistent mobbing is genuinely unacceptable big-time for anyone (), for whoever (except Terry till he slips me a fiver) – it’s the worst form of bullying (and there are many forms)

Secondly, to say that a game of ducks and drakes involving a number of peeps has been going on since I came to the place, that it had been going on for some time, and that it became unusually brutal. The problem starts to become how do you break the vicious circle before someone gets really hurt? Maybe someone is getting really hurt; I dont know, because if they are it’s hidden by the anonymity of the net.

Any realistic ideas on a human way out of the vicious circle, anyone?

P.S. can you explain the game of ducks and drakes please?

I am not going to edit my post, however, I want to say, that ‘she’ does it for a laugh, and people get upset.

Since when have you seen Undie upset eh? or have a dig at anyone eh? Poli, you obviously don’t see what is going on! I am sorry, but if people retaliate, and in Undie’s case, he is too nice to do so, that is her fault! Jeez :roll: There are so many regs who don’t go in there in the evenings anymore and I doubt they will pay for their nic again! Hope Martin/whoever he is, takes note of that!
