I’m happy cause Ive been blackberry picking and got a nice big bag full! Tomorrow I’m going srumping, so I’m looking forward to lots of blackberry and apple crumbles in the winter!
I also came upon a nice fruitful Sloe bush and will be raiding that in a few weeks cause I fancy making some sloe gin! (least I hope theyre sloes)! :?

Any chance of a few blackberries Rose :) ,I pay 2 quid for about a dozen of the things from ASDA,rip off I know :( but I love em.

Best £20 spent all summer holiday. The kids didn’t moan once & I never expected to see Bald eagles flying ….. an awesome sight in Hampshire. :lol:

My girls have had a fun filled summer too Sarah and with the exception of 1 day at the zoo which cost money we have been to parks, museums, gardens… all over the place… all of which cost nothing. At some of the museums they have taken part in treasure hunts. art and craft activities… all sorts. It just shows that there is loads of stuff out there that costs nothing if people are prepared to find it, and better still its educational too
