    No idea why.

The Trolley Song, by Judy Garland.

No idea of my age but I loved my trolley and could identify the sounds and the word trolley.

Clang clang clang went the trolley, ding ding ding went the bell

I was leaping up and down in my highchair when I heard that. Still remember my mother looking at me with a big smile on her face. She was probably thnking wtf?

I thought long and hard when I read the question…unfortunately my brain went into overdrive and I’m not sure if the songs that were popping up in my head were songs I liked or songs I remembered from early memories

The one that did keep coming back to me more so was Yesterday by Paul McCartney…my dad used to sing it all the time…it makes me smile and cry at the same time always

He died in August 1977 …he was a massive Elvis fan and mourned with the whole world at his death only to be taken away from his wife, children and parents a few days later…my dad even had the Elvis quiff ( he was the original Indian Elvis me thinks )

So …. I miss you dad xx

    Roy Orbison, Pretty Woman.

Roy was a favourite with both my mam and dad, this was a favourite track for both of them. Might explain why I was far more emotional that I should have been when someone special played it for me…
