I actually really like pandas. I was very emotionally attached to a knitted panda when i was a small child and since then I have an irrational penchant for all things panda. :D
I am now wondering if liking pandas could be considered chavvy.

Pandas aren’t common, but maybe the liking of them could be considered chavvy.
I don’t think chavs are common actually. Although there are quite a few of them.

Well, I’m both black and white so I guess I bridge the racial divide, lol.
There are chavs of all colours and religious beliefs. Chavs cross all barriers.
