Innit.Not a big fan of the use of the epithet ‘Chav’ myself. Regardless of any definitions or variations, It’s never positive and tends to be directed at myriad stereotypes of the British white working-class. If it was black people or gay people being caricatured like that, most people would be dissociating themselves from it.

Well I’ve just learnt something new. I didnt know “chav” referred to a particular racial group within a social class of people.
Is it like the english or British version of “cheap white trailer trash?”
I find that term as repugnant as the terms used to describe black people.
I rarely use the term Chav but will stop altogether now.
Btw Terry, I never said British ppl are lazy. I think I said English ppl… :P I am of course joking.

Well I read Words’ interpretation so asked my question.
Can’t find where it refers to a racial class or behavioural abnormalities.
And I don’t jump to conclusions. In fact, I don’t jump anywhere. Far too old and far too fat for that. :P
I don’t think their behaviour is abnormal, its just erm chavvy!
