Our father who are in prison,
Mother knows not his name,
Thy chavdom come, thy shoplifting be done,
In JJB Sports as it is in Poundland,
Give us this day our welfare bread,
And forgive us our ASBOs,
As we happy slap those who give evidence against us.
And lead us not into employment,
But deliver us free housing,
For thine is the chavdom,
The Burberry and the Blackberry,
For ever and ever,
Innit.22 June, 2012 at 9:18 am #499549I have heard different versions, but you have made me  Thanks x

Innit. Not a big fan of the use of the epithet ‘Chav’ myself. Regardless of any definitions or variations, It’s never positive and tends to be directed at myriad stereotypes of the British white working-class. If it was black people or gay people being caricatured like that, most people would be dissociating themselves from it.

It’s like when yourself, jen jen and panda try to give the impression on here that Brits are lazy and that Poles aren’t, isn’t it?

Sorry Terry, Being a lazy a rse meself, I have (a) never criticised laziness as I think it’s the mother of invention and (b) despite your ‘Borg’ing me, jen jen and Panda, never characterised Brits as lazy anyway.
However if you think that anything you think Panjenorth might have said justifies your joining in the characterisation then maybe the Borg has successfully absorbed you and its thoughts are now yours too . . . . . .
