    A horse called september

    Anne Digby

“Mary and Anna did everything together. They rode together on Anna’s horse Septmber. They thought that life would not change, but then Anna was sent away to the snobbish school Kilmingdean. Their fiendship faltered. Mary, left behind, watched as her beloved September was injured through overwork and she was powerless to do anything. But then just as things were at an ebb, she devised a plan to rescue September and win back Anna’s friendship. This is truely a unique book from the usual horse/teeager books you get these days and it really shows the courage of one girl to save a horse.”

wow… was just about to post about a book Ive just finished called retribution by Jillianne Hoffman (great read)

One rainy night in New York City, outstanding law student Chloe Larson wakes from a terrible nightmare. But it’s not a nightmare – she is savagely violated in her own bedroom. Twelve years later she is forging a formidable reputation as an attorney and a vicious serial killer is on the loose.

she comes face to face with the guy who violated her across a court room and battle commences with many twists and turns, one twist inparticular that took my breath away. Its also VERY graphic, which I like.

Just read on the website that its being made into a film…. will try and be as optimistic as possible about that one lol.

Anyway back to your post, just started a Jeffrey Deavers one today Mary, and so far so good. I wasnt sure it would be my cup of tea, set in the 1930’s but its pretty far paced, very descriptive and only a bunch of pages in I can already picture the characters, and that is always a sign of a good author/story teller.
