Just watched that for a few minutes…I’m amazed there aren’t more accidents, what with tourists doing stupid things for their friends with the cameras and impatient drivers ignoring the crossing altogether. One motorcyclist almost drove straight through 2 people crossing quite normally! :shock:
I walked across it about 8 years ago and there was hardly any traffic using the road. It’s amazing that, after the original photoshoot in August 1969, the place continues to attract so many tourists. Well, it amazes ME, anyway.
